This unique Boyd Art Glass hen on nest salt cellar is 2 1/2 inches long and was purchased new at Boyd's Glass in Cambridge, Ohio in 1992. It was never used or displayed since then. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or any damage. It has the Boyd mark inside the bottom. It has the original Boyd's color sticker, "Classic Black Slag Stain". NOTE: The black matte color has swirls of bright green/yellow and specks of white throughout. It may make it look like it has nicks on black paint but that is just how it was made. The black color isn't just on the surface. Look at the photos carefully! At first I thought the white speck on the hen's crest was damage but it isn't (last photo). Then I magnified it and there are specks throughout with some looking like dust. (Disregard the number in the photo.)
