All pieces are aged over 40 years, and just the 8 pieces of Pernambuco is probably worth this 00/offer 24 pieces lot. Fine hardwoods perfect for carvings, musical instruments, knife handles, gun handle grips, rifle stocks, panels, picture frames, furniture, jewelry, auto instrument panels & steering wheels, pens & pencils sets, toys, etc.
These woods were purchased about 1981 for the purpose of building audio loudspeaker cabinets. The original owner designed and crafted beautiful jewelry pieces before retiring. He identified all the woods with chalk notes at the ends, however over time, a few notations have worn away. In these cases a set of books, "Timbers of the World", which he also sold and are listed on eBay now, were used for identifications. It was found that some of these woods were known by different names and internet sources were also used. These woods are identified with the best efforts possible, but this sale is "as-is" with "no returns after pickup". The Buyer will have the opportunity to inspect the woods at pickup and confirm the identifications to their satisfaction.

These hardwoods are in excellent condition from a smoke free environment with no stains, warping or flaws which would prevent all or most of every plank to be used. One or two minor cracks were noted, but not serious enough to render any plank unusable.
