    Single piece (not glued) Honduran Mahogany guitar body blank.
    Both faces pictured above. Two pictures show grain highlighted with mineral spirits.
    Honduran Mahogany,
    also called Genuine Mahogany or South American Mahogany.
    The scientific name is
    Swietenia macrophylla.
    This blank measures:
    22 15/16  (20.94  inches)    x    14 5/8 (14.63) inches
    and is  1  31/32  (1.97) inches thick.
    Both faces are sanded to 120 grit.
    The blank weighs 14.8 pounds.
    The lumber was kiln dried, and has been air dried for many years.
    This blank was cut from old, seasoned mahogany.
