This Hanwei-made Rapier Swept-Hilt features classic lines, with a flexible tempered steel blade with high carbon content, a stainless steel handle (for reduced maintenance) with blade quillons and a twisted wire grip. The handle is the same size as the 17th-century German piece on which it is based, providing an authentic feel in the user’s hand, and the weight and balance also match the original.
The blade is interchangeable with Hanwei’s practical blade, which is designed for safety in combat with thisque.
