    This a QUARTERSAWN
    Peruvian Walnut
    (
    juglans neotropica
    )
    back and side set for building an acoustic guitar.
    Peruvian Walnut is a true walnut species that is very similar in tone and workability to tropical mahog.
    This is an excellent tonewood, imparting a well rounded, crisp, warm tone.
    Very nice ringing taptone.  Works and bends very nicely.
    The measurements are as follows:
    back boards (each half) 8
    .5" wide x 21.5" long x .130+" thick. The sides- 5" wide x 32.5" long x .130+" thick.
