    This is an OLD GROWTH
    GUATEMALAN
    ROSEWOOD
    (Dalbergia Tucarensis)
    back and side set.
    This is a TRUE ROSEWOOD of the DALBERGIA Genus.
    This wood is known by several names, including: Panamanian or Panama Rosewood, Nicaraguan Rosewood, and Guatemalan rosewood.
    This is an absolutely incredible tonewood that is almost tonally identical to Brazilian Rosewood.
    The taptone SINGS when you strike it.
    Bends very nicely and is quite stable.
    Lighter in weight than Indian, Honduran, and Brazilian Rosewood.
    YOU WILL NOT FIND THIS ANYWHERE ELSE.

    he measurements are as follows: back boards (each half)  8" x  21.5" x .130+" thick. The sides-  5" x 32.5" x .130+".
