    This is a
    FIGURED SAPELE
    (entandrophragma cylindricum)
    back and side set for building an acoustic guitar.
    This an excellent tonewood that is very similar to Honduran Mahog, although it is denser and finer grained.
    Gives a guitar a nice, well rounded tone with nice seperation of notes. Bends easily and finishes nicely.
    From my personal tonewood collection. The figuring is amazing, very similar to "The Tree" mahog.

    The measurements are as follows: back boards -  8.5" wide x 21.5"long x .140+"thick. The sides- 5" wide x 32.5" long x 140+".
