Delightful, 18" tall, antique c1883, German signed KLING china brunette doll

Description

Charming, brunette china shoulderhead young child doll, signed under the glaze (Bell  6, very hard to read) on the back of her shoulderplate (circa 1883 by C. F. KLING & Co.) with deep curly brunette hair with partially covered ears, molded lid lines, blue eyes, very pretty mouth with full lips, chubby cheeks and blush tint, wonderful original, heavy muslin, jointed homemade body with muslin lower legs and feet and lower arms and hands with stitched finger details. She wears a fine antique, two-piece fitted, brown printed gown with lined and pleated jacket and skirt, antique heavy cotton flannel petticoat with pleats, black knit stockings and darling, brown leather sandals (need new soles). Similar dolls are pictured on page 206, "A Pictorial Reference Guide for German Chinas"-Kromboltz. She
is in excellent condition with no cracks or hairlines, no chips or nicks and no repairs, no stains or fading (few minor age splits to gown) and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. (loc 10)  Her Steiff puppy, antique arm chair & shoulder heads (last photos) are
