SINKER/FLOAT logs has been salvaged from waters of SE Alaska, most over 400 years old and in the water for 30 + years this causes a wide variety of colors gives it a very old looking appearance. patches and streaks of mostly grays some browns and yellows.

his wood is very RARE and can not be graded under regular standers (color).
Hand split, quarter sawn, beautiful medullary rays.

is a family owned custom soundboard producer.  Soundboards are cut from 100 % salvage old growth Sitka Spruce & Cedar found in South East Alaska.  Most wood has been cut for over 30 years and comes from sinker, float logs and boom sticks from old saw mill days.  We have 1000's of great tops, some with lots of color.  Tell us what you are looking for, and we will try to list it.
If you need specific measurements, that will need to be worked out before shipping.  All sets are sanded to 60 grit.  There may be marks from the milling process.  Additional sanding will need to be done by the buyer.
