Quilted and OR Flame 4A graded bookmatched skins for Electrics or other.
They are 1/4" x 7.5" x 21" , each skin.
2 skin per set.

these ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF WHAT YOUR WOOD WOULD LOOK LIKE. IT IS POT LUCK WHAT TOP YOU WILL GET, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE REQUESTS WILL BE FILLED.
Our present inventory and what you will get is :

3) CURLY WITH FIGURE ( FLATSAWN) or
4) FLAME or QUILT WITH RANDOM SMALL BURLS
5) FLAME OR QUILT WITH OR WITHOUT MINERAL STAINS OR SLIGHT DEFECT.
6) BURL WITH OR WITHOUT SPAULT
We have some very nice product, usually year round.
These tops will need sanding, some grain is flush, some grain is slightly pulled.
some brown heart may be present, some may not.
Never is cell collapse sent out with any order.
If you want a one of a kind top, unorthodox, just ask.
It is random whether you get quilt or flame, depends on rotating stock.
Kd, without a ton of heat , to retain bright color.
We template all the pieces so we make sure they will fit most tops.
Your bookmatch or individual piece may have cupping, cupping is a natural aspect of shaving .25 skins of Figured Maple. Good luthiers
know how to address this. Also the cupping may increase in transit and how long it sits in your mailbox. Lots of our tops
surface perfectly flat, lots have cupping of .15 or greater along the width. Sometimes one piece has cupping and not the other.
If you are not prepared to deal with cupping, this is not your item. No returns are accepted for cupping whatsoever. .25 drop tops are like veneer, they move, figured maple especially carries grain tension, this is a normal part of Pacific Maple. .
